Privacy & security
ChampsCalcBot processes Pokémon Champions calculation requests on Twitch, X, and Bluesky. Avoid including private information in public requests.
Twitch connections
Twitch authorization confirms your broadcaster account and connects ChampsCalcBot to your channel. We keep Twitch identity and channel connection records, including connection status and beta access, so the bot operates only in authorized, active channels.
Chat, calculations and safety
Chat events received from connected channels may be processed and stored, including relevant message text and source information. Calculation, delivery and safety decisions help us process requests, prevent duplicates and investigate problems. Please avoid including private information in chat requests.
Public requests on X and Bluesky
You do not connect or authorize your personal X or Bluesky account to ChampsCalcBot merely by mentioning it or replying to it. The bot processes public requests directed to its own accounts.
Retained records include public source post identifiers, author and platform identifiers, timestamps, source text, normalized calculation requests and results, calculation digests, diagnostic and delivery receipt metadata, and reply identifiers. We also keep platform polling cursors and activation watermarks to identify new requests and prevent duplicate or historical processing.
Calculation question text is sent to OpenAI to interpret supported requests before the calculator runs. Durable social source, calculation and delivery records do not have an automatic seven-day deletion rule.
Operational diagnostics
We keep bounded diagnostic samples and health summaries to understand failed connections, request processing and service reliability. This telemetry is designed not to retain credentials, OAuth codes, raw request headers or cookies, or other secret-bearing request data.
Recent telemetry is kept for up to seven days and may be removed sooner when its storage limit is reached. Durable chat/source, calculation, delivery and safety records have different retention boundaries and are not automatically erased after seven days.
Beta bug reports
Reports are private and linked to your Twitch channel connection. If you choose to include your most recent calc, we attach diagnostic references and processing status from your channel. We do not attach chat text or credentials. Please do not paste tokens, passwords or private information into a report.
Your connection, your choice
You can disconnect Twitch from your dashboard. This prevents future bot operation in your channel but does not automatically erase retained historical records or bug reports. You can also manage the app’s authorization in Twitch’s connection settings. Reconnecting after a disconnect or authorization problem may require a fresh Twitch connection and, in some cases, cleanup or review.
Credentials stay private
Tokens and credentials are not displayed publicly or in your dashboard. Twitch authorization and beta access are separate: capacity and safety checks can prevent activation.
During the beta
This page describes the current beta. Availability and the service may change. A connection does not guarantee permanent access to a beta slot.
